Giving – Your Act of Faith and Worship

Tithing is giving a portion, traditionally 10% of your income back to God.

"A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord."

- Leviticus 27:30

Why We Give: Gratitude

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

- 2 Corinthians 9:7

Giving should not be done grudgingly, or out of a sense of obligation, but rather, it should be an act of worship and thanksgiving to God for His abundance. As we give, we express our trust in Him, acknowledging that everything we have is His.

Giving is not a way to earn blessings or favor from God. We already have the love of God. Instead, it is an opportunity to grow in faith and obedience, aligning our hearts more closely with God's.
