Who Can Become a Member?

  • Faith in Jesus Christ: You must express personal faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  • Baptism: If you haven't been baptized by immersion, you'll need to be willing to do so.
  • Prospective Member's Class: Attend a class to learn about our history, doctrine, and opportunities for service.
  • Meet with an Elder: Discuss your faith and any questions you may have.
  • Affirm the Church Covenant: Commit to our shared beliefs and values.

Privileges and Responsibilities

As a member, you'll enjoy spiritual growth, loving care, and participation in church decisions.


You'll also be expected to:

  • Attend worship and prayer services.
  • Support the church financially.
  • Love, pray for, and encourage one another.

Types of Membership

  • Active Members: Regularly participate in worship, obedience, service, and financial support.
  • Watchcare Members: Temporary residents (e.g., military, college) with limited voting rights.
  • Non-Resident Members: Those who have moved away and cannot join a local church.

Church Discipline

We strive to maintain purity and unity. Church Discipline is a loving process aimed at correcting errors and restoring fellowship. It includes private admonitions, meetings with Elders, and, if necessary, public correction or termination of membership.
